Joyetech is a top-rated brand that is one of best manufacturers of vaporizer (and even vape pods) around the world.

Recently, Joyetech released yet another new vaping device that lives up to its reputation as an industry leader. This is the Joyetech Exceed Grip.

As a fan of the brand and someone who is looking for a small alternative from my traditional big, boxy mods, I gave this new baby a try.

Ever since the era of salt nic started, many pod system devices have been introduced on the market, and this includes the Joytech Exceed Grip.

As I said, this small, compact, and user-friendly device is an ideal companion for those who want discreet vaping or who are trying to quit smoking cigarettes.

This little device is fully packed with a host of innovative features which makes it distinct from other AIO devices and pod mods currently on the market? It offers options for direct to lung (DTL) draws using standard, freebase vape juices via a cartridge with a changeable coil, and for mouth to lung (MTL) draws using salt nic e-liquids with disposable cartridge.

Other than the Exceed Grip, Joyetech has recently stepped up its game, as it also introduced exciting products such as the Teros pod, the Atopack Magic, and the Runabout pod.

I got my Joyetech Exceed Grip after a hassle-free order transaction directly at www.joyetech.com for $36.80. As soon as I opened the package, I was surprised at how small this thing really was. Although I had an idea because of the size estimation I saw on the Internet, but it was just amazing to look at. Its size is only 74 × 40 × 21 mm and weighs only 74 grams.

The little rectangular box has nicely rounded corners and textured grip. You can see the panels on either side, and they come in different colors. At the very top, you will not miss the high-quality 510 Delrin drip tip.

Thanks to Joyetech’s innovative system, the pods can easily be clipped in and out with a soft push and pull. Once out, you can see a small metal base to this cartridge. It is removable, allowing you to replace the coil head. I like that the coil head is strategically located at the bottom of the cartridge, as it allows you to grab up the vape juice even on low tank levels.

I mentioned earlier that its DTL cartridge comes with replaceable coils, right? The mechanism of change is quite easy. You simply twist the metal fixture found at the bottom part of the cartridge. Then, pull this thin out including the attached coil. After which, remove and replace the coil and then twist the fixture back into its place.

The disposable MTL cartridge is identifiable because it has a plastic base and a solid coil.

Thankfully, both these cartridges are refillable via a port located on their sides. I like the fact that this device will not give you a lot of hassle during refills and it only takes six easy steps.

  • Remove the plug
  • Unplug the silicone stopper
  • Fill slowly and carefully
  • Return the stopper
  • Put the cartridge back in place and make sure you hear the click sound
  • Give time for the e-juice to soak into the cotton (at least 10 min)

Performance-wise, both DTL and MTL cartridges produce solid vapor production and smooth draws. Given the very restrictive nature of the DTL hit, the vapor production is absolutely excellent.
